Visual Arts

The Visual Arts program focuses on Drawing and Painting, Painting II, Painting III Honors, and Digital Art. The Visual Arts program emphasizes observational studies, guided projects and self-directed projects in a relaxing, but competent art studio.

The Visual Arts program accepts students of all skills and backgrounds to visually problem-solve and exercise right-brain thinking. Developing right-brain thinking is essential for students to become self-directed thinkers, problem-solvers, and learners in today's economy of designers and leaders. Research highly emphasizes the value of the arts and how they increase student learning and growth in their core classes.
